“Watercolor Dream”

Thayne created the music to the title track in our living room, Thanksgiving week 2008. When I rediscovered some lyrics I had written a few years ago using the line “watercolor dreaming” and listened to Thayne’s music again, I knew that they belonged together. The view from our lanai inspired many of the other visuals in this song.
Lyrics
Trees will take up root there
To sweep your fears away
The sun will drink tears dry, and bring you hopeWhen life’s a puzzle, with no clues
When you’re lost, lonely, and blueThe clouds will come to ground there
Cover all your doubts and
The wind will sing its song and you will fly
Watercolor dream’n
Where things are as they seem
The edges soft and fade
Blue turns to green
Watercolor dream’n
Watercolor dream’n
Where things are as they seem
The edge soft and fade
Blue turns to green
Watercolor dream’n
Watercolor dream’n
Eyes closed heart open wideTrees will take up root there
To sweep your fears away
The sun will drink tears dry, and bring you hopeWhen life’s a puzzle, with no clues
When you’re lost, lonely, and blueThe clouds will come to ground there
Cover all your doubts and
The wind will sing its song and you will fly
Watercolor dream’n
Where things are as they seem
The edges soft and fade
Blue turns to green
Watercolor dream
